Legacy Products
We herewith duly notify you and make you aware, that the Legacy Products do not fully comply with actual general technical standards, security features (in particular with regard to cyber security), legal requirements of various jurisdictions and may create technical, legal or other risks or problems when used or distributed.
Barix has developed and sells a full range of modern alternative new generation products which are fully in compliance with the above. Therefore, Barix strictly recommends to use such further developed new products instead of the Legacy Products and to replace them respectively.
Barix is willing to offer and sell the Legacy Products to certain B2B-customers for a certain period of time, as such Legacy Products may be required for maintenance and to replace respective parts in currently operated systems. However, Barix strictly advises and demands that such Legacy Products must exclusively be used in closed systems where the network is considered ‘internal’ and ‘local’ and a security breach by outside third parties is not possible.
