Discovery Tool

The Barix Discovery Tool is a very handy Java application to find your Barix Devices on the local network. It helps you identify the IP-Address of any Barix Device based on their MAC-Address, which you can find on the backside of the device. It can even find devices when they have no or wrong IP address settings and allows even to set the IP address.

Prerequisites:

• Java Runtime Environment Installed

• make sure Windows firewall does not block traffic (UDP port 30718)

• Barix devices with a firmware not older than 2012

• detects Barix devices only in the same local LAN
