What is RetailHero?
RetailHero is the subscription plan required to access the functions that are part of the Asset Organizer section in the Portal:
Asset Management
Asset Scheduling
Asset Cues
If none of the above function is required, all other functions can still be accessed for free.
How does it work?
The subscription runs on a device basis, meaning it can be purchased for each device part of your organization or sub-organization. It is possible to purchase different plans which affect the validity period of the subscription,
There is no automatic renewal of the plan. When the plan expires the customer must submit the order form again.
Transfer subscriptions
Subscriptions can be transferred only for the Lifetime Lifetime bundle.
If a subscription must be transferred from one device to another (i.e. if the RetailPlayer device broke and is replaced with a new one), please contact Barix at support@barix.com indicating the MAC Address of the old device and the one of the new device on which the plan has to run along with the purchase invoice of the new device.
How much does it cost?
The cost varies according to the bundle chosen:
1 Year: 12 EUR
2 Years: 24 EUR
5 Years: 55 EUR
Lifetime (100 Years): 150 EUR
The bundle selection happens when filling the ORDER form (see chapter “How to Order”)
Will this affect my business operations?
Until February 1st 2022 everyone can still access ALL the “Hero” functions for free. In this way you have time to place your orders. After February 1st 2022 all the UNSUBSCRIBED devices will not have access anymore to the “Hero” functions (Asset Scheduling and Asset Cues).
How to order?
When you access the Portal locate the ORG. Settings page. In there find the RETAILHERO tab.
In this page:
Flag the devices on which you need RetailHero to run using the checkbox present on the left side of the device name.
At this point you will notice a ORDER button appearing on the top right side of the screen. Click on it
Fill-in the invoicing details, select the desired subscription bundle and preferred payment method and CONFIRM. It is customer’s responsibility to enter correct and valid information.
At this point an email is sent to Barix and a notification to the email address entered in the form.
Depending on the payment method chosen Barix will send via email either a link to pay via Credit Card or bank information to pay via bank transfer.
After payment is received the plan will be activated within 2 working days.
From this same page it is possible to monitor the devices where the plan is being ORDERED and where it is being already activated.
Use the quick filters on the top side to sort only devices with or without the plan.
Which payment method is used?
When filling the ORDER form you have the choice to chose between bank transfer or credit card.
Bank Transfer
After forwarding your order, Barix will send you an invoice according to the amount to be paid. In the same invoice you will find the bank details to be used for payment.
Credit Card
When the preferred method is Credit Card Barix will reply to your order request with an invoice that includes a link. The link will bring you to this page:

Click on SIGN-UP
A payment gateway from Barix’s sister company Qiba Pay will open up
Enter the personal details of the person entitled to use the credit card and click on PAYMENT INFO
Enter the credit card details and click on PAY 1.00 EUR - this procedure is used solely for the scope to get the credit card information and details. As soon as this is done, Barix will then charge you the amount due as per invoice and will refund 1 EUR to the same credit card which was charged to get the credit card details.
When the plan will be activated after purchase
It could take up to 48 hours to see the plan active on the devices after payment is received.
Is it possible to get a Trial period?
Yes it is. Contact support@barix.com and ask to activate a trial for one of your devices already registered in the Portal. The trial period enables RetailHero for 30 days.
Refund policy
There is no refund policy for bundles already purchased. Please make sure to try RetailHero before signing up.
