Which Wi-Fi band shall I use?

To achieve optimal performance of the AudioPoint, your signal needs to be at least 20dB higher than that of any potentially interfering signal. Wi-Fi scanning software can help with determining it.

Many modern Wi-Fi access points use autodetection of channels, allowing to locate and utilise the channel with the least interference. Every time the access point moves to a new channel, you will hear the data loss e.g. if it is moving every 20s, the data loss will occur every 20s. The access point algorithm should settle on a channel after some time. If not, you can complete a manual scan with a WiFi scanner to find the clearest band and set the access point to that channel. We recommend to complete a manual scan and disable automatic scanning by the access point.
