How to setup the Wifi for AudioPoint?

To achieve AudioPoint working properly, you will need to have a working Wifi System. We recommend using a dedicated WiFi Network for distribution, or, limit data consuming applications. Otherwise, videos or downloads can interfere with the transmission depending on the configuration.

AudioPoint Needs around 250 Kbit/s per stream! The bandwidth of your system needs to calculated accordingly.

We recommend to set up your Access Point/Wifi Router like the following:

• Usage of both Frequency ranges (2.4Ghz and 5Ghz)
• Automatic selection of the Bandwith and Channel

Wifi Networks can Interfere with each other, therefore it is recommended to use as few Wifi systems as possible in the same location.
