How to configure the SIP OPUS in Peer to Peer mode
The SIP OPUS device can be integrated into networks with an SIP server and If you don´t have a SIP server
then you can use them directly in "Peer to Peer" mode.
To configure the SIP OPUS device use the following configuration :
Go into the Advanced Setting to SIP Account settings.
SIP ACCOUNT SETTINGS | |
SIP Server(PBX) | 192.168.0.10 |
SIP User Name | 100 |
Auth User Name | |
SIP/Auth User Password | |
Outbound Proxy | |
Registration Timeout | 600 ms |
RTP Stream Timeout | 10 s |
Autodetect NAT | * On Off |
Autoanswer Incoming Call | * On Off |
Call On Input ID | 101@192.168.0.11 |
DTMF Pattern | 1234 |
As "SIP Server (PBX)" use the own IP address of the Barix SIP OPUS device, the device should register to itself.
Even a "SIP User Name" is required, configure here any unique number (e.g. 100), the remote device should have a different number/name.
A "SIP/AUTH User Password" is not required in this mode, you can omit/delete it.
Set "Autoanswer incoming Call" = On when the remote device should automatically pick up an incoming call.
On "Call On Input ID" set the target address to dial. The target address in peer to peer mode is "remote user name" @ "remote IP address" (e.g. 101@192.168.0.10).
This value is automatically taken over into the sip address field on the device homepage.
If you will connect directly to a non Barix device, then it could be you have to use here a different syntax, please read manual for more information.
