Concept
The Exstreamer P5 comes with a Control Port. To be able to use the Barix IR Remote Control Kit you need to make some HW changes.
Hardware
Following hardware is required to make this work:

Exstreamer P5

IR Remote Control Kit

RJ45 Cable
Hardware Changes
-
Open the IR Remote Control Kit
-
Take the RJ45 Cable and cut it in the required length

Prepare the RJ45 Pin's 6,7 and 8

Solder the the RJ45 to following ports on the IR board

J1-4 --> RJ45 8
-
J1-5 --> RJ45 7
-
J1-8 --> RJ45 6
