Defines where the device shall take the streams configuration from. Set it to "Local" if you want to define manually the streams without using the portal server.Click on the "Streams" tab to view and edit the current streams configuration.
When set to "Cloud", click on the "App Config" tab to view and edit it.
Note: If you edit the streams configuration in "Cloud" mode, the device will automatically disable the synchronisation with the server. However, the server webUI look-and-feel is used to configure the streams.
Default: "Cloud"
Defines whether the audio from the Line In is sent to the headphone output for monitoring.
Note: For Barix LX-400 device the monitor output is played on the rear (balanced) and AES outputs.
Default: "Off"
Defines the volume of the headphone output.
Note: The monitor output volume of LX-400 is adjusted with "PCM Playback Volume" in the USB Card Settings.
Default: "6.0dB"
Defines the ADC gain.
Default: "3.0dB"
Defines the audio input sampling rate
Default: "48000 Hz"
Choose here between the internal and USB audio card to be used as audio source. If the USB card is not present, the Multicoder will use the internal audio card as a fallback.
Default: "Internal Audio Card"
Some USB audio cards have only mono microphone audio input. In this case choose "Mono" to force the Multicoder to create a "fake" stereo input by replicating the same audio on both the left and right channels.
Default: "Stereo"
When audio USB card is plugged in, the device will try to automatically detect the available mixer controls. In this case the corresponding entries for that specificSome USB audio card will appear.
The following limitations apply:
- USB cards with mono Mic input have to be explicitly set as "Mono" in the USB Input Channels setting above. Using mono cards as stereo may result in bad audio quality of the stream.
- Some cards may have the possibility to use different volume levels per channel. The Multicoder however uses them as a joined volume switch, and therefore sets the same value to all.
- Only one USB card may be used. If more than one are plugged, only the first detected will be used, the others will be ignored.
- Barix LX-400 device already has one built-in USB card, that is used for audio output. Any other USB card, that is plugged in, will be ignored.
